The Fog Edits Her Logbook—And Her Name Turns Wrong
Each night the lighthouse keeper watches a living fog roll in across the remote rocks, but by morning the island’s visitors speak with blank eyes—as if whole years have been rubbed out. When a logbook entry she swears she wrote yesterday proves impossible, she realizes the fog isn’t hiding ships; it’s erasing people’s memories, including her own, unless she finds a way to anchor them. She alone retains the world as it was, trapped between mercy for the forgotten and the horror of forcing truth back into minds that can’t hold it. As the fog thickens and her radio finally starts broadcasting voices she recognizes from before the change, she must decide who deserves remembrance before the light goes out.
